The
(J Clip) as designed and shown here has been made with ventilation ports to allow moisture to escape from the bottom edges
of your body armor.

The hanger is even designed with a place for your name or the department’s inventory
number.

This
improper drying method promotes damage to the body armor by elongating the shoulder straps and creating creases in
the neckline. It also fails to allow the inside of the armor to dry allowing odors to accumulate.
|

Improper
drying and storage of your Body Armor can leave your vest looking like this. Just look
at all of the creases, which have set in and rub against the torso. These areas are the weakest points of your body
armor.

Would you trust your "Life" to this piece of Body Armor? Notice the creases
and the discoloration of the carrier. The elastic shoulder straps are even stretched out this method
is improper.
YOUR CHOICE: Purchase a "Flak Vest Hanger" and maintain it properly or replace your
carriers or risk the failure of your ballistic panels and void your limited warranties? You really need to
read your warranty if you think it will cover this abuse.

Why invest in Body Armor,
which will help save your life and then take care of it in this manner. If your life is important enough to wear Body
Armor then it is also important enough to take care of it in a manner that helps maintain it's ballistic stopping ability.
Stop, drying and trying to maintain your body armor by using this improper method.

This common improper method of hanging your body armor
over the back of a chair may provide support for one side but leaves the other side hanging without any support. PROBLEM: GRAVITY PULLS DOWN ON THE BALLISTIC
PANELS AND STRETCHES THE ELASTIC SHOULDER STRAPS BEYOND THEIR MEMORY POINT.
|

This is not an approved method
of drying or hanging Body Armor. This improper method (a pants hanger) may crush
and or shift the ballistic fibers and does not allow for air to circulate between the ballistic panels.
